Real talk: at FreightSnap, we don’t think of ourselves as a hardware company.

Anybody can hang a sensor from a ceiling. The hard part – the part that actually matters – is molding the solution to how YOUR operation really runs. That’s why our process starts by assessing your bottlenecks and customizing the right product for your specific needs, not ours.

It’s why our tagline isn’t about a device. It’s “It’s not just a dimensioner, it’s a solution.”

When you work with us, you’re not buying equipment. You’re getting a partner that helps you fight re-bills, recover more damage claims, and negotiate better carrier rates. We measure our success by our customers’ success. We genuinely mean it.

Price gets you in the door. A successful implementation is what makes the project worth talking about.

What’s a vendor relationship that actually felt like a partnership? I’d love to hear it.

Companies are always looking for ways to cut costs and run lighter; and reducing packaging waste is one area where many companies can improve. When you reduce packaging waste, in most cases, you’re also shrinking the footprint of your freight, which helps you save space in your warehouse or distribution...

Clear Lane Freight Systems was founded in 2012 by LTL (less than a truckload) industry veterans Tom Nagel and Ingi Torfason. The goal was to fill a need for economical long-haul LTL service. Ingi and Tom have the unique experience of having worked in both operations, quality, and sales management...

Warehouse management systems can increase inventory visibility, improve order fulfillment, enable automated data collection, and generally boost productivity across your operation. But, with so many options available, choosing the best system for your needs can be a challenge. So, whether you’re looking to update an old WMS, or invest in...

Nearly one in three LTL invoices doesn’t match the original quote. That’s a trust problem. For decades, the LTL industry has struggled with a simple problem: too many invoices don’t match the original quote. Unexpected accessorial charges, reclasses, and reweighs create unnecessary disputes between shippers, carriers, and 3PLs. The result...

Did you know the FS 5000 is legal-for-trade certified in 64 countries? That’s not a vanity stat. NTEP, OIML, and Measurement Canada certification means your dimensions hold up as proof – the kind that ends billing disputes instead of starting them. Here’s what that certification buys you in the real...

Quick question for the warehouse crowd: how much does a single reclass actually cost you? Because here’s what the numbers say. Carriers now audit 60-85% of freight. Roughly 28-35% of that gets re-billed. And the average increase lands between $120 and $150 per shipment. Multiply that across a busy dock...

“It’s not just a dimensioner, it’s a solution.” That line does a lot of heavy lifting, so let me unpack it. When you bring in a FreightSnap dimensioner, you’re not just measuring boxes. You’re getting a system that: – Protects you from re-bills and quote adjustments with certified dimensions –...

Challenges in Modern Shipping Shippers today are faced with all sorts of logistics challenges. Lost shipments, damaged freight, reweigh charges and size reclassifications to name a few. “Most of our Shipper customers have experienced all sorts of issues, which is why we decided to craft a great documentation solution to...

A tape measure and a clipboard cost a freight operation more than most CFOs will ever realize. Density-based pricing is here, and it’s not going anywhere. Carriers are now measuring 60% to 85% of the freight they haul – and re-billing about a third of it. The average bump? $120...

Like parcel and air freight carriers, LTLs are looking less at what you’re shipping and more at how big it is. Space is the name of the game, and carriers are doing everything they can to make sure they’re getting paid for the amount that’s being used on their trailers....

“But what happens when it breaks?” Fair question. It’s the one that keeps a lot of operations stuck with a tape measure. So here’s the honest answer. FreightSnap dimensioners are built solid-state – no external moving parts, plug-and-play components. That alone means far less that can go wrong. But when...
